Paula Cook, Management Partner

Paula Cook has been working in the management development field for 17 years. Previously she worked in the area of sales and key account management. Paula was employed by Management Centre Europe (MCE), an organisation offering training and development to companies across Europe.

During this time she held positions of key account manager and project manager and gained experience of managing global projects across three continents for organisations such as Nokia and Finnair.
Paula is a senior consultant in TTM Associates and managed many projects for the regional office in the Middle East, with Vodafone, Etisalat and others. She is also a core faculty member at the Suez University, the corporate university of the French industrial group of the same name.
Paula has worked also for organisations such as the Helsinki School of Economics and the Swedish Institute of Management (IFL). Today Paula’s portfolio comprises companies that include SCA, Bank of New York, Solvay and Egmont.
Some of the most enriching projects that Paula undertakes is with an international NGO, which works with children in developing countries. With this organisation, Paula is able to pass on skills to individuals working directly with communities and children in Africa, Asia and South America. Paula’s competency includes facilitating groups to build on existing strengths and develop new skills. This sometimes involves training in management and interpersonal skills, as well as team building and individual coaching. An important part of this work involves coaching teams to cope with change and challenging situations. The majority of teams that Paula works with are culturally diverse and are often faced with the complexity of not being co-located.
In terms of style, Paula is a firm believer in experiential learning. Wherever possible, learning is accompanied by exercises that involve movement, music, role plays or activities that simulate the work environment. This helps to create learning that is integrated and more easily translated into action in the workplace.
Paula works primarily in English and French. She also speaks German, Swedish and Spanish and has basic understanding of Dutch.


Pierre De Groot, MBA, MHBDI; Managing Partner EMEA

Pierre is managing partner in TTM Associates Ltd, UK, based in Belgium and has a proven management track record in three best in class multinational companies (Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline & Pharmacia).

This was complimented by a spell in an advertising agency and an ongoing involvement with business schools and management development institutions including Management Centre Europe, Training Management Corporation, Boston University and Duke Corporate Education.
Since 1999 he has interacted with HR professionals and line management at global, pan European and site level in the application of training and development as a performance enhancement tool for optimal organizational impact. His broad experience in consulting to multinational companies has contributed significantly to his focus on the alignment of an organization’s most valuable competitive resource – its people.
It has also brought additional dimensions to his activities as a consultant and facilitator / trainer in the fields of strategy formulation, implementation and managing for results. He has a pragmatic understanding, better global business practice, underscored with a well-developed knowledge of cultural diversity and the challenges of managing across borders and cultures. This allows him to truly add value to leadership and management programs in a way that tangibly impacts on the organisations and individuals that utilise his services.
He has trained and supported managers in the United States of America, across western and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa with among his portfolio Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, IBM, SCA, Siemens, Air Products, Alcoa, Tyco, BP, Dell, Kraft, Scientific Atlanta, Hilton, Novartis, Merck KGaA, Bilim, Eczacibasi, et al.
He speaks Dutch, English and basic German, holds dual Belgian and South African citizenship and holds a bachelor in economic science and a masters in business administration.


Ralph Lewis, Management Consultant

Ralph is a leadership consultant, with focus on top and middle management and he is a coach for senior management. He has extensive experience with action learning programs and change management. Ralph specializes in the design, development and delivery of a wide range of leadership development, training and consultancy activities.

He works at all levels in organizations and has worked in a variety of industry sectors and different cultures. His focus is on leadership and personal effectiveness. Through workshops or coaching individuals to deliver better performance and improve their organization.
He consulted globally and facilitated workshops with many organizations like, AstraZeneca, Credit Agricole, E C Harris, EMC, Goldman Sachs, Henley Management School, Icosystem, ST Microelectronics, Unilever. Ralph uses a variety of techniques and skill development to enable this to happen.
His career passed through many positions as follows:

Richard Best, Management Consultant

Richard is an expert in designing and delivering a range of business improvement, people development and change management programmes for a broad range of clients. He always starts his work by asking:
